piotr pasiewicz , graphic , drawer , performer , photographer , illustrator . since 2008 a student of ASP in lodz , poland on the painting and graphic department . he is a member of young generation of lodz artists .he was born in 1979 ( well not so young anymore ) he has been actively working since 1997 . to this point he has had more than 50 shows...group and individual ones.. no day without drawing –that’s an everyday life of piotr pasiewicz, polish artist who has been constantly surprising his viewers with the strangest experiments on canvases for the last ten years. Drawing is unquestionably his biggest passion. the young artist creates drawings and paintings with his expressive line in which this is a strongest element of their compositions. his line is telling incredible stories.... well so to speak straight from piotr vivid imagination. this magical line creates human shapes, sometimes of a lonely one ...sometimes it is a group of human forms...sometimes even masses human -like, animal -like creatures. being fascinated by ornaments and details...he always puts himself in a centre ...animal -like creature...it's him! ...sometimes forceful , aggressive almost...like a real horror character ...and then...simple ...quiet ...delicate ....just one element ..lost in a universe ...with a minimal almost silent background. his shapes are very organic, gentle line is slowly replaced by aggressive and sharp one, going up with an incredible strength just to suddenly fall , sometimes is gentle sometimes ...hard...almost untidy ...and viewer is hopelessly trying to find some order and logic in it. piotr's art is not giving any ready answers for any questions... ( well like any good art I suppose ) his art is provoking to ask someone instead. pasiewicz's art is a proposition for viewers with big imagination. he is not suggesting anything...he only hopes that the receiver might find his own story in it...maybe a fragment of a distant memory maybe an anecdote .now the journey is an a viewers mind....and on its own peril.
